When Mary Grace’s sweet mama sent word that their family of seven was now a family of eight… friends… I can’t even describe how ecstatic I was for this family! Over the moon? Elated? Overjoyed? None of these words accurately describe #allthefeels. Needless to say, I was more than excited to meet this little lady and see this family again. I couldn’t wait to photograph MG with her little smirk and head full of blonde (RED?!!!) hair and see all the kiddos fawn over their new baby.
You see, friend, this group of eight is #familygoals.
I mean, sure, there are bits of crazy and disorganized and maybe a sharp tongue here and there, but on the whole… lots of love lives here. With six children EIGHT and under, and a courageous homeschooling mama (no breaks, friends!), that is nothing short of divine intervention. Keegan, Emma Claire, Evan, Andrew, and John Paul were absolute angels as they posed with Mary Grace without mama and daddy and were so tender and so slow and quiet and loving. I think Keri, Mark, and I had a moment of shock that the kiddos were smooth as butter for us. After all, I think this is the… fourth? Fifth?… time I’ve seen this family in right around 3 years and this newborn session for MG has been the best yet!
