Hurry | Everett Birth Photographer
“Hurry” was I all heard from Dad. I sputtered out “I’m in Lake Stevens. I am 30 minutes away! I will make it. I WILL.” Then I white knuckle drove from the trestle down to Evergreen Hospital averaging around 75-80 and praying not to get stopped by police. After all, it was 11:45PM on a Friday night.
I made it to the hospital, ran through the parking lot, ran through the hospital, RAN to the maternity ward, RAN down the hallway past nurses with a knowing smile and made it to room 2123. Took a deep breath. Did a little knock and called out for dad.
“She’s here!”
The ‘she’ was me, thankfully. Not the baby. But boy, did we cut it close. We knew mom was going to be fast but NOT 2 hours and 40 minutes fast. But the Lord’s timing is always perfect and things ended up just as they were supposed to!
Baby Bryson has been eagerly anticipated for this family whom you have seen before. Remember these sessions? Bryson’s maternity session, the fall family session where the pregnancy was announced, and the family as three last year and the year before. And now? Now is his birth story. Next will be his newborn session in the next week. Enjoy!
