Yup. I made it to day three of Willette’s Joy of LOVE online workshop! GO ME!!! The theme? Then and now. The goal is to capture your loved one and show a change.

Well, I think I’ve done that quite nicely. My ‘Then’ image is from way back when Quinny was about 3 weeks old. It was August of 2009 and HOT. This was the summer of 110+ degrees. In Seattle. I actually had to go to the CYE Photography Flickr stream and pull the image since the original, high res version is buried deep, about 3 external hard drives ago.

The ‘Now’ picture is from… today obviously. Around 4:15PM. Seeing these photos together makes me so SAD! My little baby is [GASP] not so much a little baby anymore. **Photograjargon Alert*** I really shouldn’t have waited until so late in the day – it ended up being SO GRAY! I ended up setting up in my east facing dining room to utilize the sliding glass door. I added a reflector camera left to help pull in a teensy bit of extra light into the shadow side. I STILL ended up at 3200 ISO f/3.2 and 1/125 sec. YOWSA!
